On December 25, three winning schools will be announced, one of which will necessarily be a mountain status school.

The jury members are:

  • Giorgi Giorgadze – Grandmaster and Vice President of the Georgian Chess Federation.
  • Zhanna Khachatouriani – Recipient of the 2025 National Teacher Award.
  • Goga Chanadiri – Head of Projects at the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Foundation.
  • Levan Bekaia – Director of the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Foundation.

The competition will provide funding for three projects submitted by schools. Projects may focus on either educational or infrastructure-related initiatives and must aim to support and improve the learning process.

Each winning school will receive a grant of 8,000 GEL from the Foundation.

The goal of the Grant Competition is not only to support and improve the learning process in rural public schools, but also to encourage students to take greater responsibility for their schools and develop the skills needed to write and present project proposals.
