Four students with the highest academic performance from four faculties of Tbilisi State Medical University have received monthly scholarships from the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Fund, and in addition, the applicant with the highest competitive score enrolled in TSMU through this year’s Unified National Exams, a current active freshman bachelor, became the winner of the Foundation’s award.
The following students with the highest academic performance from faculties recognized as a priority by the Foundation in the spring semester of the last academic year became Tamaz Bekaia Educational Fund scholarship recipients:
- Bachaliashvili Saba – Faculty of Pharmacy;
- Sermkhishvili Albert – Faculty of Public Health;
- Kvaratskhelia Salome – Georgian-Austrian Bachelor’s Program in Nursing;
- Kevlishvili Mariam – Bachelor’s Program in Public Health.
The Foundation’s award was presented to Mariam Matoshvili, a freshman in the American Graduate Medical Program (English-language) who was admitted with the highest competitive score in the 2025 Unified National Exams.
As is tradition, an award ceremony and informational meeting were held at the university, which was attended by students and university representatives.
