It is already the second year that the school grant project funded by the Tamaz Bekaia Foundation has been carried out – rural public schools that are most in need of infrastructural/educational development. This year, the number of winners has increased to three, and one more school from the highland regions will be added.
The goal of the project is to facilitate the learning process and increase motivation for students living in rural areas who have infrastructural and educational challenges.
The project consists of three stages
Registration for the first stage has already started and ends on November 1st – participants in the competition must submit a project consisting of 100 words.
Second stage – the twenty transferred schools must submit a 200-word project with a cost estimate by December 20.
On December 25, the winners of 2 rural public schools and 1 highland rural public school will be announced.
The three winning schools in the rural public school competition will receive a grant of 8,000 GEL and will provide infrastructural/educational needs with this amount.
The project is evaluated objectively by the jury: Maka Beridze – Rector of Akhaltsikhe University
Roland Shavadze – winner of the 2022 National Teacher Award
Goga Chanadir – project manager of Tamaz Bekaia educational foundation
