The two winning schools of the school grant competition announced by the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Foundation were revealed.
The winning schools are: public school of Beshtasheni of Tsalka municipality and N1 public school of Geguti village of Tskaltubo municipality named after King Tamar.
The winning schools were given 8 000 GEL as a gift from the foundation, which will be used for infrastructural and educational purposes.
A big thank you to the administration and students of each school for their high involvement.
Thanks to the members of the jury who took care of evaluating the projects and identifying the winning school:
Gia Murgulia – the founder of the Humanitarian Academy
Khatuna Razmadze – teacher of 2021
Goga Chanadir – head of projects of the fund
Levan Bekaia – Director of the Foundation
It is worth noting the fact that it was quite difficult for the jury members to choose 2 schools, since they were aware of the need for grants for other rural schools as well.
