On November 19, a meeting was held between the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Fund and the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, where the following decision was made: Highly rated students of the Bachelor’s degree programs of the Faculty of Restoration/Art History and Theory will be given the opportunity to receive a monthly scholarship from the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Fund starting from the spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.
Restoration and Art History and Theory are one of the most important directions in the protection and understanding of cultural heritage. This faculty provides both historical and theoretical knowledge, as well as the development of practical skills, which, as you know, are necessary for the preservation and research of works of art, architectural monuments and cultural objects.
In addition to the aforementioned faculty, Tamaz Bekaia Educational funds students with the highest academic performance from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the same university.
