About Us

Tamaz Bekaia is a successful, philanthropist Georgian businessman.

He supported and financed talented students at his own expense, whose lack of financial means prevented them from getting a high-quality education. About 100 families living in the villages of Georgia were supplied with notebooks so that they could continue their education during the Covid-pandemic.

The charity had a narrow scope, but Tamaz wanted to reach a wider audience, encourage more talented young people and strive to promote education, to have an organized and coherent face.

The Educational Fund of Tamaz Bekaia was officially established on March 5, 2021.

‘We endeavor to foster a nurturing, supportive approach towards talented students to help them get a high degree education and benefit from it during their academic life.’ – is the foundation’s mission statement.

Shortly, the foundation aims to diversify educational areas, as well as increase the number of universities and specialized schools throughout Georgia.

The foundation is completely independent and transparent. Its activities are financed by the dividends of Tamaz Bekaia’s business. The foundation is ready to exist independently for a long time to allow the future generations of Georgia to get a high-quality education, master the desired professions, and develop skills.
