The 2025 scholarship recipients selected from among the students of the Georgian Technical University have been announced.

Four students with the highest academic performance from four faculties of the Georgian Technical University have received monthly scholarships from the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Fund, and in addition, the applicant with the highest competitive score enrolled in GTU through this year’s Unified National Exams, a current first-year bachelor with active status, became the winner of the Fund’s award.

The following students with the highest academic performance from faculties recognized as a priority by the Fund in the spring semester of the last academic year became Tamaz Bekaia Educational Fundscholarship recipients:

Ucha Mchedlishvili – Faculty of Architecture, Urban Studies and Design;
Mariam Bakradze – Faculty of Sustainable Mountain Development;
Shota Ivelashvili – Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Biosystems Engineering;
Guljan Japarova – Faculty of Construction.

The Fund’s award was presented to the applicant with the highest competitive score in the 2025 Unified National Examinations – Lika-Maryam Shubitidze, who is a first-year student in the Bachelor of Architecture educational program.

As usual, an award ceremony and information meeting were held at the university, which was attended by students and university representatives.
