The 1st stage of the 4th grant competition for rural public schools has ended!

The 1st stage of the 4th grant competition for rural public schools has ended!

A total of 335 applications were received, which will be reviewed by the competition jury, and on December 1, 20 schools that have advanced to the second stage will be announced.

The members of the jury are:

  • Natia Uchava – winner of the 2024 National Teacher Award;
  • David Lortkipanidze – Academician, Director General of the Georgian National Museum;
  • Goga Chanadiri, Head of Projects at the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Foundation;
  • Levan Bekaia, Director of the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Foundation.

In the past three years, 8 schools have won the school grant competition announced by the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Foundation. The project aims to support and improve the learning process for students and teachers living in rural areas who face infrastructural and educational challenges.
